Esteemed artists such as Mohammed Vakil, Wadali Brothers, Master Saleem, Ahmed Hussain and Mohammad Hussain, Chandan Dass, and playback singer Bhupinder Singh have been honored with this prestigious award.

Additionally, Shammi has played a crucial role in creating the annual magazine of Govt. College Dharamshala, named Bhagsu.
